Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g., fusilli or penne)
- 1 dl pesto
- 2 dl heavy cream
- 100 g Parmesan cheese, grated
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions in salted water. Drain the pasta and reserve a little cooking water.
2. Heat a pan over medium heat and add the crushed garlic. Sauté for a moment until the garlic is soft.
3. Pour in the cream and stir. Heat the mixture but do not let it boil.
4. Add the pesto and Parmesan cheese. Mix well and let the sauce thicken slightly.
5. Combine the drained pasta with the sauce and stir. If the sauce is too thick, add a little reserved cooking water.
6. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
7. Serve the pasta garnished with fresh basil.
