A fantastic wrap recipe for a grain-free diet. A simple and delicious option for lunch or a snack. Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Serving Size: 2 wraps
Ingredients:
- 2 large lettuce leaves (e.g., romaine or iceberg) - 100 g cooked and sliced chicken (or other protein)
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 1/2 cucumber, sliced
- 1/2 bell pepper, sliced
- 2 tbsp hummus or cream cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh herbs (e.g., cilantro or parsley) if desired
Instructions:
1. Take the lettuce leaves and place them on a clean surface to serve as the base for the wraps. 2. Spread hummus or cream cheese over the lettuce leaves.
3. Layer the sliced chicken, avocado, cucumber, and bell pepper on top of the lettuce leaves.
4. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and fresh herbs if using.
5. Roll the lettuce leaves tightly around the fillings and enjoy immediately!
