A delicious and hearty crunch wrap loaded with seasoned meat, beans, and fresh toppings. Perfect for a casual dinner or a fun gathering. Preparation Time: 40 minutes
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 6 tortillas
- 400 g ground beef (or chicken)
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 can black beans (drained)
- 1 cup corn
- 2 cups shredded cheese (e.g., cheddar)
- 1 cup salsa
- 1 cup sour cream
- Lettuce (e.g., iceberg)
- Tomatoes (diced)
- Avocado (sliced)
- Oil for frying
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned. Season with taco seasoning, salt, and pepper.
2. Remove the cooked meat from the skillet and mix in the black beans and corn. Let it cool slightly.
3. On a baking sheet, place the first tortilla at the bottom. Spread a layer of the meat mixture on top.
4. Add shredded cheese, salsa, sour cream, lettuce, diced tomatoes, and sliced avocado.
5. Place another tortilla on top and repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a final tortilla on top.
6. Bake in the oven at 200°C (400°F) for about 20-25 minutes, until the tortillas are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
7. Allow to cool slightly before serving. Cut into wedges and enjoy!
