These delicious cheesy sticks are the perfect savory snack or appetizer for parties. They are crispy and full of flavor!Preparation Time: 40 minutes
Serving Size: 20 sticks
Ingredients:
- 100 g butter
- 2 dl all-purpose flour
- 1 dl grated cheese (such as cheddar or emmental)
- 1 dl cream
- 1 egg (for brushing)
- Extra grated cheese or chopped almonds for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cream the softened butter in a bowl until light and fluffy.
2. Add the all-purpose flour, grated cheese, and cream. Mix until a smooth dough forms.
3. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 0.5 cm thick.
4. Cut the dough into 5 cm long and 1 cm wide strips using a pastry cutter.
5. Place the strips on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
6. Brush the sticks with the beaten egg and sprinkle with extra grated cheese or colored almond flakes on top.
7. Bake at 200°C (about 400°F) for 15-20 minutes or until the sticks are golden brown and crispy.
