Ingredients:
- 3 ripe bananas- 1 cup sugar
- ½ cup canola oil
- 3 eggs
- 3 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ cup mini chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).2. Mash the bananas in a bowl.
3. Add sugar, canola oil, and eggs to the mashed bananas. Mix well.
4. In another bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
5. Add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture and stir until smooth.
6. If using, fold in the mini chocolate chips.
7. Pour the batter into a greased cake pan (or two 9-inch pans) and smooth the top.
8. Bake in the oven for about 45-60 minutes, or until the cake is done (test with a toothpick).
9. Allow to cool in the pan before serving.
