Ingredients
- 1.5 tbsp Irish whiskey- 1 tbsp instant coffee powder
- 1.5 dl sugar
- 0.75 dl potato starch
- 3 eggs
- 0.5 tsp cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 2 dl heavy cream
- 1 tbsp powdered sugar
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.2. Whisk the eggs and sugar together until light and fluffy.
3. Gently fold in the potato starch, baking powder, and cocoa powder.
4. Add the instant coffee powder and Irish whiskey to the mixture, stirring until combined.
5. Pour the batter onto the prepared baking sheet and bake in the oven for about 10-12 minutes, until the surface is golden brown.
6. Remove the roll cake from the oven and carefully turn it onto a damp kitchen towel. Allow it to cool.
7. Whip the heavy cream and mix in the powdered sugar.
8. Spread the whipped cream over the cooled roll cake and roll it up tightly.
9. Let the roll cake chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes before serving.
