A delicious and crispy side dish that pairs perfectly with a variety of meals. Preparation time is about 30 minutes and the recipe serves 4.
Ingredients:
- 4 medium potatoes
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp paprika powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
1. Peel the potatoes and cut them into thin strips lengthwise.
2. Soak the potato strips in cold water for about 15 minutes to remove excess starch.
3. Drain the potatoes and dry them well with a kitchen towel.
4. Place the potato strips in a bowl and add olive oil, salt, black pepper, paprika powder, and garlic powder. Mix well.
5. Spread the seasoned potatoes evenly on a baking sheet.
6. Bake at 200°C (400°F) for about 20-25 minutes or until the potatoes are golden brown and crispy. Turn the potatoes halfway through baking.
7. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving, if desired.
