Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g., penne or fusilli) - 200 g pesto (store-bought or homemade)
- 200 ml cream
- 100 g Parmesan cheese (grated)
- 2 garlic cloves (chopped)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions in salted water. Drain the pasta, reserving some of the cooking water. 2. In a pan, heat olive oil and add the chopped garlic. Sauté for a few minutes until the garlic is soft.
3. Pour in the cream and stir well. Allow it to simmer on low heat for about 5 minutes.
4. Add the pesto and grated Parmesan cheese to the cream mixture. Stir until the cheese has melted.
5. Add the cooked pasta to the pan and mix well. If the mixture is too thick, you can add a bit of the reserved cooking water.
6. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
7. Serve the pasta garnished with fresh basil.
