A delicious and nutritious fish dish that works well as a main course or a light evening meal. Preparation Time: 1 hour
Serving Size: 4-6
Ingredients:
- 1 cup milk or cream- 1 tablespoon potato flour
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- ½ teaspoon lemon pepper
- ½ teaspoon white pepper
- 1-2 eggs
- 1 onion, pre-cooked in about 2 tablespoons of butter
- About 2 teaspoons salt
- About 1 kg ground pike (skin, fins, and bones removed)
Instructions:
1. If the fish is frozen, drain any thawing liquid.2. In a bowl, mix all the ingredients and knead the mixture well.
3. Grease a baking dish and pour the mixture into it.
4. Place the dish in the oven at 200°C (392°F) without a lid. Bake for about 30 minutes.
5. Reduce the oven temperature to 175°C (347°F) and bake for another 20-30 minutes until the dish is cooked through.
