Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g., penne or fusilli)
- 150 g pesto
- 200 ml cream
- 100 g Parmesan cheese (grated)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta in salted water according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain the pasta.
2. Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
3. Add pesto and cream to the pan, stirring well and heating through, but do not let it boil.
4. Add the drained pasta to the pesto-cream mixture and stir thoroughly to coat the pasta evenly.
5. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and mix again. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
6. Serve warm, garnished with fresh basil leaves.
