Delicious and crispy French fries, perfect as a side dish for any meal. Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 1 kg potatoes - 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika (optional)
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder (optional)
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
1. Peel the potatoes and cut them into long, thin strips. 2. Rinse the potato strips in cold water and dry them thoroughly with a kitchen towel.
3. Place the potatoes in a bowl and add olive oil, salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. Mix well to ensure the seasonings are evenly distributed.
4. Spread the seasoned potato strips evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
5. Bake at 200°C (fan oven) for about 20-25 minutes until the fries are golden brown and crispy, turning them halfway through cooking.
6. Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
