Ingredients:
- Chocolate Cake Base:- 200 g butter
- 200 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 200 g all-purpose flour
- 75 g cocoa powder
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 100 ml milk
- Cream Cheese Filling:
- 400 g cream cheese
- 200 g powdered sugar
- 100 ml cream
- 100 ml strawberry jam
- Icing and Decorations:
- 500 g fondant
- Lace for decoration
- Colorful flowers (e.g., edible flowers)
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Chocolate Cake Base:- Melt the butter and let it cool.
- Whisk together the sugar and eggs until light and fluffy.
- Add the melted butter and mix well.
- In a separate bowl, combine the dry ingredients (flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder) and add to the batter alternately with the milk.
- Pour the batter into a greased and floured cake pan (approximately 33 cm in diameter) and bake at 175°C (350°F) for about 30-35 minutes. Allow to cool.
2. Prepare the Cream Cheese Filling:
- Beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar together.
- Add the cream and whip until the mixture is fluffy.
- Stir in the strawberry jam.
3. Assemble the Cake:
- Slice the cooled cake into three layers.
- Fill the layers with the cream cheese filling and strawberry jam.
- Cover the entire cake with fondant and decorate with lace and flowers.
4. Decorate the Cake:
- Use fondant shaped flowers and lace to embellish the cake.
