A delightful British tradition that combines delicious tea cakes with refreshing tea. This recipe transports you straight to a classic British tea time.

Ingredients:

- 4 dl black tea
- 1 dl milk
- 200 g butter
- 200 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 250 g all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 100 g dried fruits (e.g. raisins and apricots)
- 1 dl nuts (e.g. walnuts)
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- Fresh berries for garnish

Instructions:

1. Brew the black tea and let it cool.
2. In a bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
3. Add the eggs one at a time, continuing to beat the mixture.
4. Mix the flour and baking powder together, then gradually add it to the batter along with the cooled tea.
5. Fold in the dried fruits, nuts, and vanilla sugar until well combined.
6. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan.
7. Bake at 175°C (350°F) for about 30-40 minutes or until the bread is cooked through.
8. Allow to cool before serving. Garnish with fresh berries.
