Deliciously crispy and flavorful, French fries make the perfect side dish for a variety of meals.

Ingredients:
- 4 medium-sized potatoes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Fresh herbs (such as rosemary or thyme, optional)
Instructions:
1. Peel and cut the potatoes into strips.
2. Soak the potato strips in cold water for about 15 minutes.
3. Drain the potatoes and dry them with paper towels.
4. In a bowl, toss the potatoes with olive oil, salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
5. Spread the seasoned potatoes on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
6. Bake at 200°C (400°F) for about 20-25 minutes until the potatoes are golden brown and crispy, flipping them halfway through cooking.
7. Sprinkle fresh herbs on top if desired before serving.
