Delicious and versatile slices of bread perfect for breakfast or a snack. The traditional "pan con tomate" is a popular option, but feel free to experiment with other toppings. Preparation Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients:
- 4 slices of rustic bread - 2 ripe tomatoes
- 2 garlic cloves
- Extra virgin olive oil
- Salt
- Black pepper
- (Optional toppings: ham, cheese, avocado, olives)
Instructions:
1. Toast the bread slices lightly on both sides until golden brown. 2. Rub the toasted bread slices with the garlic cloves.
3. Cut the tomatoes in half and squeeze the juice onto the bread. Alternatively, you can grate the tomatoes directly onto the bread.
4. Drizzle olive oil over the tomatoes and season with salt and black pepper.
5. If desired, add additional toppings like ham, cheese, or avocado.
6. Serve immediately while warm.
