This simple and tasty pasta dish is perfect for a weeknight dinner. It takes only 20 minutes to prepare and serves four.Preparation Time: 20 minutes
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g., spaghetti or fusilli)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 100 g cherry tomatoes, halved
- 100 g fresh basil, chopped
- 50 g Parmesan cheese, grated
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions in salted water. Drain and reserve some pasta water.
2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until golden brown.
3. Add cherry tomatoes to the skillet and cook for a few minutes until they are soft.
4. Toss the cooked pasta into the skillet and add basil, salt, and pepper. If the pasta looks dry, add a bit of reserved pasta water.
5. Serve the pasta topped with grated Parmesan cheese and enjoy!
