Ingredients:
- 4 medium potatoes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil

- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
- Fresh herbs (e.g., rosemary or thyme) for garnish
Instructions:
1. Peel the potatoes and cut them into strips or slices.
2. Rinse the potatoes in cold water and dry them thoroughly.
3. Place the potatoes in a bowl and add olive oil, salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. Mix well.
4. Spread the potatoes evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
5. Bake at 200°C (400°F) for about 25-30 minutes or until the potatoes are golden brown and crispy. Turn the fries once during baking.
