Brookie is a delightful blend of rich chocolate brownie and chewy cookie dough, perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth!
Ingredients:
- Brownie Base:- 100 g butter
- 150 g dark chocolate
- 200 g sugar
- 2 eggs
- 100 g all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1-2 tbsp licorice powder (optional)
- Cookie Base:
- 125 g butter
- 100 g sugar
- 75 g brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 200 g all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 100 g chocolate chips
- 50 g nuts (optional)
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Brownie Base:- Melt the butter and dark chocolate in a saucepan over low heat. Stir until smooth.
- Add the sugar and mix well.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition.
- Stir in the flour, vanilla sugar, salt, and licorice powder (if using). Pour the batter into a greased baking dish.
2. Prepare the Cookie Base:
- In a bowl, cream together the butter, sugars, and vanilla sugar.
- Add the egg and mix well.
- Stir in the flour, baking soda, and salt. Add the chocolate chips and nuts.
- Spoon the cookie dough over the brownie batter, covering it completely.
3. Bake:
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Bake the brookie in the oven for about 25-30 minutes, until the top is golden brown. Check for doneness with a toothpick—it should come out with a little moist batter.
4. Cool and Serve:
- Allow the brookie to cool before cutting. Serve with ice cream or enjoy on its own.
