Ingredients
- 1 egg yolk - 1 whole egg
- 0.5 dl all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 4 slices of Brie cheese (approximately 75 g)
- 1 tsp ground black pepper
- 75 g butter
- Poppy seeds for topping
Instructions
1. Remove the rind from the Brie cheese and crumble it into a bowl. 2. In another bowl, mix together the all-purpose flour, salt, and ground black pepper.
3. Cut the butter into the flour and crumbled Brie until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
4. Add the egg yolk to the mixture and stir until smooth.
5. If the dough is too dry, add a few tablespoons of cold water.
6. Shape the dough into small cookies and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
7. Brush the cookies with the whole egg and sprinkle poppy seeds on top.
8. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (392°F) for about 15-20 minutes or until the cookies are golden brown.
