Ingredients:
- 200 g butter - 200 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 300 g all-purpose flour
- 100 ml milk
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 200 g berries (e.g., blueberries and raspberries)
- Powdered sugar for decoration
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease and flour a cake pan.2. Beat the softened butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
4. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and vanilla sugar. Gradually add the dry mixture to the batter, alternating with the milk. Mix well.
5. Gently fold the berries into the batter, being careful not to crush them.
6. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the surface.
7. Bake in the oven for about 30-35 minutes or until the cake is golden brown and cooked through. Check doneness with a toothpick.
8. Allow the cake to cool before serving. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
