French Fries Sointu Style

Deliciously crispy French fries with an Italian twist, featuring a blend of spices and topped with Parmesan cheese. Preparation Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients:
- 800 g potatoes
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
- 50 g Parmesan cheese (grated)
- Fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Peel and cut the potatoes into sticks.
2. Boil the potatoes in salted water for about 5 minutes, until slightly softened. Drain and let cool.
3. Preheat olive oil on a baking sheet at 200°C (400°F).
4. In a bowl, mix the potatoes with salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and thyme.
5. Add the seasoned potatoes to the hot baking sheet and bake for about 20-25 minutes, until golden brown and crispy.
6. Remove from the oven and sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the fries. Bake for an additional 5 minutes, until the cheese is melted.
7. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
