Ingredients:

- 4 medium potatoes
- 2 tablespoons oil (e.g., olive oil or canola oil)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)

Instructions:

1. Peel the potatoes and cut them into long strips.
2. Rinse the potato strips in cold water and dry them thoroughly.
3. Place the potatoes in a bowl and add the oil, salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. Mix well to coat the potatoes evenly.
4. Spread the potatoes out evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
5. Bake the fries at 200°C (about 400°F) for approximately 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy. Flip the fries halfway through the cooking time.
6. Serve immediately while hot.
