Ingredients:
- 3 ripe bananas
- 100 g sugar
- 1 egg
- 50 g melted butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 200 g all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- (optional: nuts or chocolate chips)
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease a loaf pan.
2. In a bowl, mash the bananas with a fork.
3. Add the sugar, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract to the mashed bananas. Mix well.
4. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
5. Gently fold the dry ingredients into the banana mixture. Add nuts or chocolate chips if desired.
6. Pour the batter into the loaf pan and smooth the top.
7. Bake in the oven for about 50-60 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
8. Allow the bread to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before removing it.
