Deliciously spiced gingerbread dough, perfect for Christmas treats. You can enjoy the dough raw or bake it into delightful gingerbread cookies. Preparation Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients
- 200 g syrup - 200 g sugar
- 2 tbsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp ginger
- 1 tbsp cloves
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 100 ml cream
- 1 egg
- 600 g all-purpose flour
- 100 g butter
Instructions
1. In a pot, bring the syrup, sugar, and spices to a boil. Allow to cool slightly. 2. Stir in the cream and egg, mixing well.
3. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt.
4. Gradually add the flour mixture to the syrup mixture until the dough is smooth.
5. Incorporate the softened butter into the dough and knead until well combined.
6. Shape the dough into a ball, wrap in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for about 1-2 hours.
7. Divide the dough into portions and roll out on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
8. Cut out gingerbread shapes or pieces for a gingerbread house, and bake at 180°C (350°F) for about 8-10 minutes.
