A rich and decadent chocolate cake perfect for winter celebrations. Preparation time is about 1 hour, and it serves approximately 8 people.Ingredients:
- 200 g dark chocolate- 150 g butter
- 200 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 100 g all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- A pinch of salt
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and flour a cake pan.2. Melt the dark chocolate and butter in a saucepan over low heat. Stir until the mixture is smooth.
3. Add the sugar to the chocolate mixture and stir well.
4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
5. Sift in the all-purpose flour, baking powder, vanilla sugar, and salt. Gently mix until the batter is smooth.
6. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan.
7. Bake in the oven for about 25-30 minutes or until the cake is cooked through. Test with a toothpick for doneness.
8. Allow the cake to cool before serving. Optionally, dust with powdered sugar or top with berries.
