A delicious and refreshing dessert that perfectly combines pistachios and ice cream. Ideal for year-round enjoyment and a great choice for special occasions. Preparation Time: 30 minutes + freezing time
Servings: 6-8 balls
Ingredients:
- 2 dl pistachios
- 3 dl vanilla ice cream
- 1 dl cream
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 100 g dark chocolate (for decoration)
Instructions:
1. Finely chop the pistachios in a bowl until they become coarse crumbs.
2. Melt the vanilla ice cream and mix in the cream, sugar, and vanilla extract.
3. Add the chopped pistachios to the ice cream mixture and stir well.
4. Shape the mixture into balls and place them on parchment paper.
5. Put the balls in the freezer to freeze for at least 2 hours.
6. Melt the dark chocolate and dip the frozen balls into the chocolate. Place them back in the freezer for a moment to allow the chocolate to harden.
7. Serve the ice cream balls cold.
