Delicious sweet treats resembling cake bases, perfect with cream and berries, or as a pastry!
Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 8-10 Töttöröt
Ingredients:
- 3 eggs
- 1 egg white
- 1 dl sugar
- 1 dl all-purpose flour
- Butter or margarine for greasing
- Whipped cream and berries (e.g., strawberries or raspberries) for filling
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
2. Whisk the eggs and egg white with the sugar until fluffy.
3. Carefully fold in the flour.
4. Grease a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and spoon the batter into eight mounds, leaving space for spreading.
5. Bake in the oven for about 10-12 minutes, until the Töttöröt are golden yellow.
6. Remove the baking sheets from the oven and immediately roll the Töttöröt while hot. Leave the seam side down on the table to hold their shape as they cool.
7. Once cooled, fill the Töttöröt with whipped cream and berries.
