A delicious way to prepare smoked pike roe served with a tasty sour cream sauce. Preparation Time: 1 hour 30 minutes (smoking time 40 minutes)

Ingredients:
- 100 g pike roe - 200 ml sour cream
- 2 tsp mustard
- 1 tsp liquid honey
- Black pepper, to taste
- 1/6 tsp fine sea salt (or to taste)
- 1 small onion (or 1 tbsp chopped chives)
Instructions:
1. Freeze the pike roe for at least 24 hours at -18°C before preparation. 2. Smoke the pike roe for 40 minutes.
3. In a bowl, mix together the sour cream, mustard, honey, black pepper, sea salt, and finely chopped onion.
4. Add the smoked pike roe to the mixture and stir well.
5. Let the sauce marinate in the refrigerator for about an hour before serving.
6. Serve the smoked pike roe with the sour cream sauce alongside potatoes and cucumber salad.
