Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g., penne or fusilli)
- 200 g sausage (e.g., chorizo or bratwurst)
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 400 g crushed tomatoes
- 2 dl beer (e.g., pale lager)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta in salted water according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2. Peel and chop the onion and garlic.
3. Slice the sausage into rounds.
4. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, sautéing until soft.
5. Add the sausage slices and cook until golden brown.
6. Pour in the crushed tomatoes and beer. Add oregano, salt, and pepper. Let simmer on low heat for about 10 minutes.
7. Stir in the cooked pasta until well combined with the sauce.
8. Serve with fresh basil on top for garnish.
