Delicious raw balls perfect for the holiday season, enjoyed by both young and old. Easy to prepare and full of flavor!
Preparation time: 20 min + 1 hour in the fridge
Serving size: About 20 pieces
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 dl organic raisins
- 2 tbsp water
- 1 dl almonds
- 1 1/2 dl cashew nuts
- A pinch of (rose) salt
- 1 1/2 tsp (Ceylon) cinnamon
- 1/3 tsp cardamom
- 1/4 tsp vanilla powder
- 1/5 tsp ground ginger
Instructions:
1. Measure the raisins and water into a lidded glass jar, shake, and leave in the fridge to soak.
2. Process the almonds and cashew nuts in a food processor until crumbly.
3. Add the spices to the nut mixture and blend briefly.
4. Pour in the soaked raisins and blend until a moldable dough forms.
5. Roll the dough into evenly sized balls. If the mixture is sticky, let it rest for a moment and lightly moisten your hands.
6. Place the balls in a loosely covered container in the fridge to firm up for at least an hour, preferably overnight.
7. If desired, you can coat the balls with almond flour before serving.
