Delicious and nutritious flaxseed oat rolls, perfect for breakfast or a snack.
Preparation Time: 1 hour
Serving Size: 12 rolls
Ingredients:
- 1 dl rolled oats
- 1 packet dry yeast
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons syrup
- 1.5 dl rye flour
- 0.5 dl flaxseeds
- 10 dl all-purpose flour
- 5 dl warm water
Instructions:
1. In a large bowl, mix the rolled oats, dry yeast, salt, rye flour, flaxseeds, and all-purpose flour.
2. Add the vegetable oil, syrup, and warm water. Stir until the dough is smooth.
3. Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until it is elastic.
4. Cover the bowl with a cloth and let the dough rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes.
5. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius (400 degrees Fahrenheit).
6. Divide the dough into 12 portions and shape them into rolls. Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
7. Allow the rolls to rise for an additional 15 minutes.
8. Bake in the oven for about 20-25 minutes until the rolls are golden brown.
