A delicious apple dessert with a crunchy almond topping, perfect for serving warm. Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 40 minutes
Ingredients:
- 4 large sour apples (about 850 g)
- 3 dl almond flakes (about 100 g)
- 100 g butter
- 1 dl sugar
- 2 dl cream
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon (optional)
Instructions:
1. Peel and slice the apples. Arrange the apple slices in a baking dish.
2. In a saucepan, melt the butter. Add the sugar and stir until the mixture is smooth.
3. Stir in the almond flakes and mix well.
4. Pour the almond mixture over the apple slices.
5. Bake at 175°C (350°F) for about 30-40 minutes, or until the top is beautifully golden brown.
6. Serve warm with cream or vanilla ice cream.
