A refreshing summer treat that combines sweet strawberries and tart rhubarb, seasoned with sumac and cardamom. Preparation time is just 20 minutes, and it yields about 6 popsicles.
Ingredients:
- 250 g fresh strawberries
- 250 g rhubarb
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp sumac
- 1 tsp cardamom
- 300 ml water
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F).
2. Wash the strawberries and rhubarb. Chop the rhubarb into small pieces.
3. Place the strawberries and rhubarb pieces in a baking dish. Add sugar, sumac, and cardamom. Mix well.
4. Roast in the oven for about 15-20 minutes until the rhubarb is soft.
5. Remove the dish from the oven and let it cool slightly. Then blend the roasted fruit and water in a blender until smooth.
6. Pour the mixture into popsicle molds and insert sticks.
7. Freeze for at least 4 hours or until completely solid.
