A delicious treat for lovers of licorice and salty salmiak. This easy recipe requires no ice cream maker! Preparation Time: 15 minutes + freezing time
Serving Size: 4-6 servings
Ingredients:
- 400 ml heavy cream - 1 can (about 397 g) sweetened condensed milk
- 100 g Licorice (or other licorice)
- 50 ml salty licorice syrup
- 50 g glucose syrup (optional)
Instructions:
1. Begin by melting the licorice in a saucepan over low heat until fully melted. Allow it to cool slightly.2. Whip the heavy cream in a large bowl until stiff peaks form.
3. Gently fold in the sweetened condensed milk, melted licorice, and salty licorice syrup into the whipped cream until smooth.
4. If using glucose syrup, add it now and mix well.
5. Pour the ice cream mixture into a freezable container and place it in the freezer.
6. Let the ice cream freeze for at least 4-6 hours or until completely solid. If not using glucose syrup, stir the ice cream every 1-2 hours to maintain a soft consistency.
