Traditional Finnish pastries, particularly popular on Runeberg's Day. These delicious cakes are packed with flavor and perfect for a coffee table.
Preparation Time: 1 hour
Serving Size: 12 pastries

Ingredients:

- 1.5 dl vegetable oil
- 1.5 dl brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 dl ground almonds
- 1.5 dl all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- Raspberry jam

Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F).
2. In a bowl, mix the vegetable oil and brown sugar together until well combined.
3. Crack the eggs into the mixture and stir until smooth.
4. Add the ground almonds, flour, and baking powder. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly.
5. Grease a muffin tray or use paper muffin liners.
6. Divide the batter into the molds and create a small indentation in the center.
7. Spoon raspberry jam into the indentation.
8. Bake in the oven for about 20-25 minutes or until the pastries are golden brown.
9. Allow the pastries to cool before serving.
