Ingredients:
- 1.5 kg beef osso buco - 2 fennels
- 3 carrots
- 1 leek
- 2 shallots
- 2 oranges
- 2 dl white wine
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for frying
Instructions:
1. Peel and chop the carrots, fennels, leek, and shallots.2. Heat olive oil in a large pot and sear the osso buco pieces until golden brown.
3. Add the chopped vegetables to the pot and sauté briefly until they soften.
4. Squeeze the juice of the oranges over the vegetables and add the orange peels for flavor.
5. Pour the white wine into the pot and season with salt and pepper.
6. Cover the pot with a lid and simmer on low heat for about 3 hours, until the meat is tender.
7. Serve warm, accompanied by mashed potatoes or fresh bread.
