These delicious flaxseed rolls are a perfect addition to breakfast or as a snack. They are nutritious and easy to make. Preparation Time: 1 hour
Serving Size: About 12 rolls
Ingredients:
- 1 dl flaxseeds
- 3 dl milk (or water)
- 1 tbsp honey
- 7 dl bread flour
- ½ dl oil
- ½ packet dry yeast
- 1 tsp salt
Instructions:
1. Mix the dry yeast with the bread flour in a large bowl.
2. Heat the milk to about 42 degrees Celsius (107.6 degrees Fahrenheit).
3. Add salt, honey, flaxseeds, and oil to the warm milk and mix well.
4. Pour the mixture into the flour and stir until a dough starts to form.
5. Knead the dough by hand or in a mixer until it is smooth and elastic.
6. Cover the dough with a cloth and let it rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes.
7. Shape the dough into rolls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
8. Let the rolls rise for another 15-20 minutes.
9. Bake in a preheated oven at 225 degrees Celsius (437 degrees Fahrenheit) for about 15-20 minutes, until golden brown.
