A deliciously unique Belgian IPA featuring the sweetness of coconut palm sugar and the distinct flavor of licorice root. This beer offers a delightful bitterness and earthy notes thanks to the Warrior and Columbus hops.
Preparation Time: 2 weeks
Serving Size: 20 liters

Ingredients:

- 5 kg Pale Ale malt
- 1 kg Caramel malt
- 0.5 kg Licorice root
- 0.5 kg Coconut palm sugar
- 50 g Warrior hops (bitterness)
- 50 g Columbus hops (aroma)
- 1 packet Belgian beer yeast
- 20 liters of water

Instructions:

1. Heat the water to 68 degrees Celsius and add the malt. Let it steep for 60 minutes.
2. Strain the malt and boil the resulting liquid for about 60 minutes.
3. Add Warrior hops at the beginning of the boil and Columbus hops during the last 10 minutes.
4. Add coconut palm sugar and licorice root towards the end of the boil.
5. Cool the beer quickly and transfer it to a fermentation vessel.
6. Add the yeast and let it ferment at room temperature for 2 weeks.
7. Bottle and enjoy!
