Serving size: 1 wreath
Ingredients:
- 500 g flour - 250 ml milk
- 100 g butter
- 75 g sugar
- 1 packet dry yeast
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- For decoration:
- Nuts
- Dried fruits
- Powdered sugar
Instructions:
1. Melt the butter and warm the milk until lukewarm. 2. In a bowl, mix together dry yeast, sugar, salt, and cinnamon.
3. Add the warm milk and melted butter to the mixture.
4. Incorporate one egg and mix well.
5. Gradually add flour and knead the dough for about 10 minutes until elastic.
6. Let the dough rise under a cloth for about 30 minutes.
7. Roll out the dough into a sheet and shape it into a wreath.
8. Brush the wreath with the remaining egg.
9. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for about 25-30 minutes, until the wreath is beautifully golden brown.
10. Allow to cool and decorate with nuts, dried fruits, and powdered sugar.
