Bibimbap
recipe
A delicious Korean rice bowl topped with a variety of vegetables and proteins, served with a spicy gochujang sauce. Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 2
Ingredients:
- 1 - 1.5 dl uncooked rice (sushi rice or glutinous rice) - 1 egg (fried, optional)
- Gochujang sauce (recipe below)

Toppings (choose your favorites):
- Steamed broccoli florets - Fried quorn cubes (seasoned with curry)
- Julienne carrots
- Roasted cashews
- Tofu cubes
- Salmon
- Green onions
- Bell pepper
- Fresh cilantro or chives
- Quick pickled cucumber slices in sesame oil and sugar
- Soybeans
Instructions:
1. Cook the rice according to package instructions. 2. Prepare your chosen toppings in advance, such as frying the quorn cubes and julienning the carrots.
3. Assemble the bowl by placing the cooked rice at the bottom.
4. Add the toppings on top of the rice in your preferred arrangement.
5. Fry the egg and place it in the center of the bowl on top of the other elements.
6. Prepare the gochujang sauce (recipe below) and drizzle it over the dish.
Gochujang Sauce:
- 2 tablespoons gochujang paste - 2 tablespoons water
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
- 2 tablespoons sugar

1. Mix all ingredients together until smooth using a fork. 2. Taste the sauce and adjust the flavor as desired.
