Ingredients:
- 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 cup sour cream or plain yogurt
- 7 tablespoons butter
- About 4 cups apple slices
Instructions:
1. In a bowl, mix together the dry ingredients (flour, sugar, and baking powder).
2. Melt the butter and stir in the sour cream.
3. Pour the melted butter-sour cream mixture into the dry ingredients and gently mix until the dough is smooth.
4. Pour the dough into a pie or cake pan.
5. Arrange the apple slices on top of the dough.
6. Bake in the oven at 400°F (200°C) for about 20-25 minutes or until the pie is beautifully golden brown.
