A delicious bread dough that's easy to prepare and versatile for various uses. Preparation time is about 2 hours, including rising time. Serves 20 pieces.Ingredients:
- 5 dl water
- 1 packet dry yeast
- 2 tsp salt
- 1/2 dl syrup
- Approximately 8 dl wheat flour (you can also use rye flour or graham flour)
- 1 tbsp sugar (for boiling)
Instructions:
1. In a bowl, mix the dry yeast, syrup, salt, and water together.
2. Gradually add the wheat flour and knead the dough until firm.
3. Let the dough rise covered with a cloth for about 1 hour, or until it has doubled in size.
4. Shape the dough into a log about half a meter long and divide it into 20 pieces.
5. Form the pieces into your desired shape and boil them in sugar water until they float to the surface.
