A delicious Christmas dish seasoned with aquavit and dill, creating the perfect flavor combination for your festive table.

Ingredients:

- 800 g Christmas herring (or any fish of your choice)
- 1 dl aquavit
- 1 dl fresh dill, chopped
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
2. Rinse the Christmas herring under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.
3. Place the fish in a baking dish and pour the aquavit over the top.
4. Sprinkle the chopped dill, salt, and black pepper over the fish.
5. Squeeze the lemon juice over the fish and drizzle with olive oil.
6. Cover the dish with foil and bake in the oven for about 30 minutes.
7. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, until the fish is cooked through and golden brown.
8. Serve warm with additional dill and lemon slices.
