A delightful and summery strawberry ice cream roll, perfect for summer days. It combines vanilla ice cream, strawberry jam, and fresh strawberries. Easy to make and loved by everyone! Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 8 servings
Ingredients:
- 4 eggs - 1 dl sugar
- 1 dl all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 dl vanilla ice cream
- 1 dl strawberry jam
- 200 g fresh strawberries
- Powdered sugar (for decoration)
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. 2. Whisk the eggs and sugar together until fluffy.
3. In a separate bowl, mix the flour and baking powder, then gently fold it into the egg mixture.
4. Pour the batter onto the baking sheet and spread it evenly.
5. Bake in the oven for about 10 minutes, or until the surface is lightly golden brown.
6. Turn the baked base onto another piece of parchment paper and carefully remove the original parchment.
7. Spread the ice cream, strawberry jam, and sliced fresh strawberries evenly over the base.
8. Roll the base tightly and wrap it in plastic wrap. Chill in the refrigerator for about 1 hour.
9. Slice the roll and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
