Murokakku is an easy and delicious cake that is perfect for coffee breaks. This moist cake, made with a mix of different flours, is particularly special.

Ingredients

- 200 g butter or margarine
- 2 dl sugar
- 3 eggs
- 2½ dl all-purpose flour
- 1 dl potato, corn, or barley starch
- 1 tsp baking powder
- (optional: vanilla sugar or cocoa powder to taste)

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F).
2. Beat the butter and sugar together until creamy and fluffy.
3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
4. In a separate bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, starch, and baking powder. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the batter.
5. Mix until smooth and well combined.
6. Pour the batter into a greased cake pan.
7. Bake in the oven for about 30-35 minutes, or until the cake is cooked through.
8. Allow the cake to cool before serving.
