Strawberry Cream Puffs with Vallformosa Cava Origin

A delightful spring treat, these light and airy cream puffs are filled with a fresh strawberry mixture, perfect for celebrations. Preparation Time: 1 hour
Serving Size: 12 cream puffs
Ingredients:
- 125 ml water - 75 g butter
- 100 g all-purpose flour
- 3 eggs
- 200 g fresh strawberries
- 50 g cream cheese
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- Vallformosa Cava Origin (for serving)
Instructions:
1. In a saucepan, bring the water and butter to a boil. 2. Add the all-purpose flour all at once and stir vigorously until the dough pulls away from the sides of the pan.
3. Remove the saucepan from heat and let the dough cool slightly.
4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition until the dough is smooth and glossy.
5. Transfer the dough to a piping bag and pipe small round mounds onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
6. Bake at 200°C (400°F) for about 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and firm. Allow to cool.
7. For the filling, puree the strawberries and mix them with the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla sugar.
8. Cut off the tops of the cooled cream puffs and fill them with the strawberry mixture.
9. Serve the cream puffs with chilled Vallformosa Cava Origin.
