A delicious milk cake that's perfect for any occasion.
Preparation time: 15 minutes
Cooking time: 30-40 minutes
Serving size: 10 servings
Ingredients:
- 200 g butter
- 2 1/2 dl sugar
- 4 eggs
- 3 1/2 dl all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 1/2 dl milk
Instructions:
1. Melt the butter and allow it to cool.
2. In a mixing bowl, whisk the sugar and eggs together until the mixture is light and fluffy.
3. Add the melted butter to the egg mixture and mix well.
4. In another bowl, combine the all-purpose flour and baking powder. Gradually add the flour mixture to the egg mixture, alternating with the milk, and mix until smooth.
5. Pour the batter into a greased and floured cake pan.
6. Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C (350°F) for about 30-40 minutes or until the cake is cooked through and has a beautiful golden color on top.
7. Allow the cake to cool before serving.
