A delicious and moist milk cake, perfect for coffee gatherings. Easy to make and delightful in flavor! Preparation Time: 1 hour 15 minutes
Serving Size: About 12 pieces
Ingredients:
- 4 large eggs - 3 dl sugar (about 4½ cups)
- 3 dl all-purpose flour (about 4½ cups)
- 1 dl potato flour (about 1½ cups)
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 2 tsp vanilla sugar
- 150 g butter
- 1 dl milk (about 1½ cups)
Instructions:
1. In a saucepan, bring the butter and milk to a boil.2. Whisk the eggs and sugar together until frothy.
3. In a separate bowl, combine the dry ingredients: all-purpose flour, potato flour, baking powder, and vanilla sugar.
4. Gradually add the dry mixture to the egg-sugar mixture, alternating with the butter-milk mixture, sieving as you go.
5. Mix until the batter is smooth.
6. Pour the batter into a greased and breadcrumb-dusted coffee cake pan.
7. Bake at 175°C (350°F) for about 1 hour.
8. If desired, you can frost the cake with a powdered sugar buttercream flavored with lemon juice.
