Serving Size: 8 slices
Ingredients:
- 1 cup milk - 3.5 oz butter
- 0.9 oz fresh yeast
- 0.4 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 1 egg
- 4.8 cups all-purpose flour
- 0.4 cup chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions:
1. Warm the milk and melt the butter in it. 2. Crumble the fresh yeast into the warm milk and stir until dissolved.
3. Add the sugar, salt, vanilla sugar, and egg. Mix well.
4. Gradually add the all-purpose flour to the mixture. Knead the dough until smooth and elastic.
5. If using, fold in the chocolate chips evenly.
6. Cover the dough with a cloth and let it rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes.
7. Preheat the oven to 356°F (180°C).
8. Roll out the dough and cut it into desired sizes.
9. Place the pieces on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and let them rise for another 15 minutes.
10. Bake in the oven for about 20-25 minutes, until the bread is beautifully golden brown.
