A delicious berry jelly made with organic sugar and aronia berry juice. Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: Makes about 4 jars
Ingredients:
- 400 g organic sugar
- ½ l aronia berry juice
Instructions:
1. Pour the aronia berry juice into a saucepan and add the sugar.
2. Heat the mixture over low heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
3. Continue to boil for about 15-20 minutes.
4. To test for gel consistency, take a small amount of the jelly and place it on a plate to cool briefly.
5. Run a spoon through the center of the jelly; if the edges hold their shape, the jelly is ready.
6. If the jelly has not set, add gelling agent and boil for a few more minutes.
7. Pour the finished jelly into clean jars and seal tightly.
